The JMeter test tool is generally used to load test servers running Web/HTTP applications, however it has been expanded to include support for a variety of other test environments. An introduction to JMeter will be given along with examples of its usage. The goal is to have you leave with enough understanding of the JMeter application to start using it in your own environment.
